India’s beauty and cosmetics industry witnessed a major boost last week with the successful debut of BeautySum India 2025 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre) in Dwarka, New Delhi. The three-day event, held from August 28 to 30, established itself as a leading international platform for beauty innovation, collaboration, and trade.

Organized by MESSE ESANG, South Korea’s renowned exhibition management company, BeautySum India marked a significant step in strengthening Korea–India industry ties. The show brought together global brands, Indian stakeholders, and industry professionals under one roof, highlighting both the potential of India’s fast-growing market and the opportunities for cross-border partnerships.

Spread across Halls 2A and 2B of Yashobhoomi, the exhibition covered nearly 9,600 square meters of display space. Exhibitors showcased a diverse mix of categories including skincare, cosmetics, hair and nail products, dermatology and aesthetic devices, fragrances, inner beauty solutions, packaging, raw materials, OEM/ODM services, and advanced beauty technologies. With its strategic location near IGI Airport and direct metro connectivity via the Dwarka Sector-25 Airport Express Line, Yashobhumi offered a seamless experience for both international and domestic visitors.

Beyond exhibition booths, BeautySum India featured a range of interactive programs. The Global Beauty Trend Conference proved to be one of the key attractions, hosting sessions on sustainability, organic certifications, and future trends in cosmetics. An ODM Match-Up Lounge facilitated direct business collaborations between Indian enterprises and global original design manufacturers. Live demonstrations, influencer-led experiences, and expert seminars added to the event’s dynamic appeal, making it a hub for knowledge exchange and networking.

The timing of BeautySum India 2025 was particularly significant. India’s beauty and personal care (BPC) market was projected to reach USD 30 billion by 2027, representing around five percent of the global market. With rising consumer demand, growing awareness of global beauty trends, and a strong foundation in Ayurveda-based innovations, the Indian market attracted international attention. Industry observers noted that BeautySum India served as a catalyst for global players to tap into this growth potential while empowering Indian businesses with new opportunities.

MESSE ESANG positioned the event not only as a one-time exhibition but as part of a long-term vision to nurture collaborations across multiple industries. Their strategy included expanding such international showcases into allied fields like medical technology and lifestyle industries in the future.

With its debut edition, BeautySum India 2025 successfully positioned itself as a landmark event for the country’s beauty sector. By combining cutting-edge innovations, global perspectives, and a rapidly growing domestic market, the exhibition redefined India’s role as a key player in the global beauty industry.
