The 13th edition of Gartex Texprocess India Expo is set to make its mark with an expanded lineup and new features when it takes place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 21–23 August 2025 in Halls 2, 3, and 4. Jointly organised by MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd., the event will introduce two major additions – the LeatherX Pavilion and the Textile Care Forum broadening its appeal to stakeholders across garment, textile manufacturing, leather goods, and denim industries.
The New Delhi edition will feature over 200 exhibitors and 600+ brands, including prominent players from China, Japan, Italy, Germany, and Singapore. Remarkably, 35% of the exhibitors will be making their debut at the show. Spanning more than 1,50,000 sq ft, the event will also host The Denim Show (in association with the Denim Manufacturers Association), along with dedicated zones such as the Fabrics and Trims Show, Screen Print India – Textile, and the LeatherX Pavilion.
A highlight this year is the Textile Care Forum, a knowledge-sharing platform created in partnership with the Drycleaners and Launderers Association of India, scheduled for 22 August 2025. Discussions will focus on the role of washing and finishing in a garment’s lifecycle, environmental considerations, EPR guidelines, sustainable laundry practices, and green chemistry. Meanwhile, the LeatherX Pavilion will spotlight innovations in leather processing, tanning, fashion accessories, and footwear, fostering new collaboration opportunities.
Mr. Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd., commented: ” The remarkable growth of India’s textile sector is reflected in the success of Gartex Texprocess India. With the introduction of the Textile Care Forum and LeatherX Pavilion, alongside a focus on smart automation in laundry and dry-cleaning, we are elevating the show’s experience for all.”
Over the years, Gartex Texprocess India has evolved from a garment machinery and manufacturing solutions event into a comprehensive industry showcase, encompassing knitting, embroidery, digital printing, sewing technologies, trims, accessories, software, and e-commerce solutions.
Ms. Himani Gulati and Mr. Gaurav Juneja, Directors of MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., added: “With over 200 exhibitors and around 600 brands, this will be one of our most impactful editions yet. Our continued emphasis on technology-driven solutions and new features like the Textile Care Forum and LeatherX Pavilion ensure the event remains a complete sourcing and networking hub for the industry.”
India’s denim sector also commands a global presence, with an annual production capacity of 1,600 million meters and a market projected to grow from USD 2.43 billion in 2024 to USD 3.85 billion by 2030 (CAGR of 8%). The co-located Denim Show aims to leverage this growth, offering a platform for networking, collaboration, and customer outreach.
With the integration of leather, textile care, and denim segments, the 2025 edition promises a 360-degree industry showcase from raw materials and production technologies to value-added services and finished goods cementing its position as a premier global platform for India’s textile and apparel sector.
