12th MachAuto Expo concludes on satisfactory note

Over 50000 visitors have exposure of latest technologies in four day expo

The 12th edition of MachAuto Expo- India’s leading exhibition on Machine Tools and Automation Technology, concluded at Ludhiana Exhibition Centre, GT Road, Sahnewal on Monday.

Organised by Udan Media and Communications Pvt Ltd. and supported by Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU), MSME, NSIC, Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industry and Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (India), the four day exhibition drew over 50000 visitors.

The MachAuto Expo had an array of new and innovative products on display from over 650 companies from 12 countries.

The exhibition received overwhelming response from manufacturers, traders, engineers and students of different institutes who came from across the country and yielded the benefits. The exhibitors also confirmed closing significant business deals during this four day event.

On Monday, Dalvir Singh Dhillon, Chairman, Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation graced the event as the esteemed guest. He saw the tools and machinery exhibited in the exhibition and was impressed by the arrangements made by the organisers.

Dhillon said that the state government is promoting ‘Make in Punjab’ and such exhibitions give exposure of products made by industries of Punjab to the visitors from across the country as well as to foreign visitors. This will help in giving a boost to the local industry.

Besides, former MLA from Atam Nagar constituency Simarjeet Singh Bains, Former MLA from Ludhiana East constituency Ranjit Singh Dhillon and Gopi Kothari, Chairman, Kay Jay Forgings Pvt Ltd also presided in the exhibition as the special guests.

They congratulated team Udan Media for organizing back to back international exhibitions which will help in strengthening the industrial sector of the state.

GS Dhillon, Managing Director of Udan Media and Communications Pvt Ltd. said that the exhibition concluded on a satisfactory note. He said that the exhibitors have generated record business queries and the visitors were also gratified having exposure to 15000+ products and over 1500 machinery which were on live display.

“After receiving great response from exhibitors and visitors and on the basis of feedback received from exhibitors, the next MachAuto Expo will be organised for five days from February 22-26, 2024,” he announced.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) said that the period of next 10 years is a golden period for Punjab as the state manufacturers has great potential to not only meet the diverse requirements of the customers in country but also meet the demand of other countries. Therefore, MachAuto expo is a platform for the manufacturers to upgrade their knowledge, skills and machinery so that they can compete in the global market.

Gurpargat Singh Kahlon, President, APMA; Tarlochan Singh, President of ALMTI, Gurpreet Singh Kahlon, member MSME board and Bhola Jha, State Level Disha Committee Member (Punjab), GOI were also present during the exhibition.
