Visit by GES has introduced a new generation of Touchpoints designed to help exhibitors and organisers capture valuable visitor interest that often goes unnoticed on exhibition floors.

The technology aims to bridge the gap between visitor curiosity and lead generation by enabling attendees to interact with exhibitors’ content through simple touch-based engagement. Using NFC-enabled smart badges, visitors can tap Touchpoints located across exhibition stands to instantly access product information, brochures, presentations, and other digital content. In return, exhibitors receive valuable data on visitor interests and engagement patterns.

According to Visit by GES, a significant portion of visitor interest at exhibitions remains uncaptured because many attendees browse displays without initiating direct conversations with exhibitors. The new Touchpoints are designed to address this challenge by creating additional engagement opportunities while collecting meaningful behavioural data.

The solution forms part of the company’s broader event intelligence platform, which combines registration, visitor engagement, lead capture, and analytics tools. By tracking interactions in real time, organisers gain deeper insights into visitor journeys, while exhibitors benefit from enhanced lead generation and improved return on investment.

Visitors also benefit from a more seamless exhibition experience, as all collected content is stored digitally and can be accessed after the event through a personalised portal. This eliminates the need for printed materials while ensuring that attendees can revisit information from exhibitors long after the show concludes.

The launch reflects the growing emphasis within the exhibitions industry on data-driven engagement, personalised experiences, and measurable event outcomes. As organisers and exhibitors increasingly focus on demonstrating ROI and understanding visitor behaviour, technologies such as Touchpoints are expected to play an important role in shaping the future of exhibition engagement.
