India is set to host SEMICON India 2026 from 17–19 September 2026 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), New Delhi, bringing together semiconductor companies, technology leaders, policymakers, investors and ecosystem stakeholders under the theme “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem.”

SEMICON India 2026 is jointly organised by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and SEMI, reflecting the growing importance of India in the global semiconductor and electronics ecosystem. The event is being held under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and aims to strengthen collaboration between government, industry, academia and startups.

The 2026 edition is expected to be significantly larger, with 500+ exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries showcasing technologies, innovations and solutions across the microelectronics value chain. The exhibition will feature a Startup Pavilion, Workforce Development Pavilion, seven Country Pavilions, 10 State Pavilions and a DeepTech Hackathon, among other initiatives.

The event’s theme, “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,” reflects India’s ambition to move beyond individual components and develop capabilities across the semiconductor value chain. It also highlights the country’s focus on technology sovereignty, innovation-led growth, global partnerships and resilient supply chains.

SEMICON India 2026 will provide a platform for companies and stakeholders to explore investment opportunities, forge strategic partnerships and exchange knowledge on the technologies shaping the next generation of electronics.

With participation from global technology players, Indian enterprises, startups, state governments and international stakeholders, the event is positioned as an important industry platform for India’s semiconductor ambitions.

As India continues to strengthen its semiconductor manufacturing, design, talent and innovation capabilities, SEMICON India 2026 is expected to play a key role in connecting the country’s growing ecosystem with global opportunities and partnerships.
