The International Affairs Division of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently held discussions with officials from the Embassy of Vietnam in India to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral trade relations and promoting greater Indian participation in Vietnam International Sourcing (VIS) 2026.

The meeting was attended by Naveen Seth and Manisha Singh from PHDCCI, alongside Bui Trung Thuong and Tran Thi Lan Huong representing the Vietnamese Embassy.

During the interaction, both sides highlighted the importance of deepening economic cooperation between India and Vietnam and creating new opportunities for businesses from both countries to expand their international presence. Particular emphasis was placed on encouraging Indian companies to participate in Vietnam International Sourcing 2026, one of Vietnam’s leading sourcing and trade platforms connecting global buyers with Vietnamese manufacturers and exporters.

The exhibition is scheduled to take place from 3–5 September 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The event is expected to bring together more than 600 Vietnamese manufacturers and exporters, showcasing over 12,000 export-ready products across multiple sectors and industries.

PHDCCI expressed its commitment to facilitating the participation of Indian businesses at the event by supporting business matchmaking initiatives, networking opportunities, sourcing partnerships, and trade collaborations with Vietnamese and international companies.

The initiative reflects the growing momentum in India-Vietnam economic relations and highlights the role of international trade exhibitions in fostering business connectivity, trade diversification, and cross-border investment opportunities across the rapidly expanding ASEAN region.
