The inaugural edition of INNOPROM. India has opened today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing Russian and Indian companies together on a platform focused on industrial cooperation, trade and business development. The three-day event is being held from September 9–11, 2026, ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit.
Positioned as an international platform for developing trade and industrial cooperation, the first INNOPROM. India comes at a time of expanding economic engagement between the two countries. According to the event, Russia–India trade turnover exceeded US$60 billion in 2025, with bilateral trade increasing almost sevenfold over the past five years.
The exhibition features more than 200 exhibitors across a 10,000-square-metre exhibition area, with over 10,000 visitors expected during the three-day event. Alongside the exhibition, the programme includes more than 10 business events, creating opportunities for companies and industry stakeholders to explore partnerships and commercial opportunities.
The event brings together industrial companies, technology providers, business representatives and government stakeholders, with the focus extending beyond exhibition displays to B2B meetings and industrial cooperation. Dedicated business programmes and B2B sessions are designed to facilitate direct engagement between Russian and Indian businesses.
The participation of major Russian industrial and technology organisations, alongside Indian business interests, gives the debut edition a broader significance for bilateral industrial relations. Strategic partners include organisations such as Rostec, RUSAL, Moscow Government, Rosatom and Tatarstan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, reflecting the breadth of sectors represented at the platform.
Organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, with Formika Event serving as the event operator, INNOPROM. India marks the expansion of the established INNOPROM platform into the Indian market.
With its first edition now underway, the event is positioning itself as a new meeting point for technology, manufacturing, investment and Russia–India industrial partnerships.
