The 8th edition of the India Boat & Marine Show (IBMS 2026) is poised to bring together key stakeholders from the marine, boating, leisure and water sports sectors from January 29–31, 2026 at the Bolgatty Palace Event Centre in Kochi. Organised as India’s foremost trade exhibition for the boating and marine industry, the event aims to foster business linkages, showcase technological advancements and support market expansion in the region.

Over the three days, a diverse range of products and services will be on display, with leading national and international brands presenting boats, marine engines, navigational systems and water sports equipment. Exhibits are expected to encompass leisure and rescue boats, trailer and sport boats, sailing and motor yachts, and related gear such as kayaks, wakeboards and scuba diving equipment.

IBMS 2026 also emphasises business-to-business engagement, drawing manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, buyers and enthusiasts from across the boating ecosystem. The show’s format encourages industry players to explore potential partnerships, distribution opportunities and technological collaborations that could strengthen supply chains regionally and internationally.

A notable feature of the event is the Vendor Development Program (VDP) scheduled for January 30, which aims to connect micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with public sector agencies including defence establishments, shipyards and ports, facilitating networking and procurement discussions.

Entry to the exhibition halls is free with prior registration, while specialised water tourism and on-water displays may require invitation access. The event’s location in Kochi, home to India’s only international marina, further complements the show’s focus on marine infrastructure and water tourism potential.
