ICCA has announced a landmark partnership with Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events to co-develop a pioneering professional education programme aimed at strengthening China’s rapidly growing business events sector. The initiative, named the Certified International Business Events Professional (CIBEP) programme, is designed to equip emerging and mid-level talent with foundational knowledge, practical skills, and international standards tailored to the local market.
The CIBEP programme will adopt a three-tier certification structure, combining ICCA’s global expertise with case studies, experiences, and practices curated by Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events. This collaboration seeks to cultivate a more competitive workforce while supporting the long-term development of China’s business events ecosystem.
