The Great Yorkshire Showground has unveiled its 2026 events calendar, featuring a broad mix of new launches and established favourites, reinforcing its position as one of northern England’s most versatile event destinations.
Set across the 250-acre Great Yorkshire Events Centre and the Pavilions of Harrogate, the 2026 programme spans agriculture, culture, motorsport, technology, and community-focused gatherings.
Among the new additions is the Yorkshire Farming Conference, scheduled for January 28, which will bring together more than 30 speakers and over 60 businesses and organisations to discuss key issues shaping the future of farming. April will see the debut of Pascify Book Con on April 11, celebrating paranormal, science fiction, and fantasy literature with hundreds of authors taking part in talks, panels, and readings.
June introduces the Northern Country Sports Show on June 6–7, highlighting shooting, hunting, and fishing sports, while August will host Mathewsons Live on August 22–23, combining motorsport, rare vehicles, live music, and regional food and drink.
Alongside the new events, several popular fixtures will return. These include Yorkshire Voices Conference 2026: Reset & Rise on February 27, Everything Electric North on May 8–9, and the flagship Great Yorkshire Show, running from July 14–17. The Yorkshire Voices Conference will focus on contemporary issues affecting women, with speakers such as Christine Talbot, Stephanie Hirst, and Christa Ackroyd.
Allister Nixon, Chief Executive of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, said the year ahead promises to be both busy and varied, noting that the Showground’s flexibility and experienced team enable it to host events of all scales. He added that profits generated support the Society’s ongoing work to promote farming, food, and the countryside throughout the year.
The 2026 programme underscores the Showground’s growing role as a hub for regional and national events.
