Storytelling has become the new standard for exhibition content

ES. In high-pressure event environments with tight timelines, how do you prioritise creative choices while ensuring consistency in output quality?

Aakash Dhote. In fast-paced event environments, our priority is always clarity, consistency, and impact. We focus first on the key moments and brand objectives, then build creative decisions around that. Strong pre-event planning, experienced teams, and clear visual guidelines help us maintain a consistent output quality even under tight timelines across multiple locations.

ES. With your background in cinematography, how do you adapt film techniques like lighting, movement, and narrative flow into static or semi-static exhibition environments?

Aakash Dhote. My cinematography background naturally influences how we approach exhibitions and event coverage. We use lighting to shape mood, camera movement to create energy, and storytelling techniques to capture not just the setup, but the experience of the event. Even in semi-static environments, we aim to create visuals that feel immersive and dynamic rather than purely documentary.

ES. Have you seen a shift in how brands approach visual content for exhibitions, from basic branding to more content-led storytelling? How are you responding to this change?

Aakash Dhote. Definitely. Earlier, exhibition visuals were mostly limited to branding documentation and standard coverage. Today, brands want content that tells a story, builds engagement, and extends the life of the event beyond the venue itself. At Blue Apple International, we have adapted by focusing more on cinematic highlights, social-first content, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and faster content delivery for real-time audience engagement.

ES. With the rise of short-form video, interactive media, and digital installations, what new formats do you believe will dominate exhibition and event spaces in the coming years, and how is Blue Apple preparing for them?

Aakash Dhote. We believe short-form vertical content, immersive LED experiences, interactive installations, and AI-assisted content workflows will become increasingly dominant in exhibitions and live events. Audiences now expect experiences that are visually engaging and instantly shareable. Blue Apple is already preparing for this shift by expanding our capabilities in social-first video production, multi-format content creation, faster editing pipelines, and international on-ground coverage across exhibitions and conferences.
